The Quilt Fairy has a Gammill Classic Plus (stitch regulated), Longarm Quilting Machine and is able to do free arm custom designs, stitch in the ditch and pantograph patterns.

The fairy needs:

	Your quilt top … Seams pressed flat
	Your favourite wadding, squared off and at least 4 inches larger all around...........or you can use mine
	Your 100% cotton backing fabric, squared off, at least 4 inches larger all around, joined, selvage removed and seams pressed flat.

Pricing

As quilts come in infinite designs, sizes and configurations use the following as a rough guide:

Pantograph Patterns: (All over , edge to edge designs) start at $3 per square foot.

Simple Custom Quilting (simple motifs, stitch in the ditch around medium to large pieces, echo or stipple/meander around appliqué etc) starts at $5 per square foot

More Complex Custom Quilting (Scroll feathered borders, circles , multiple motifs, stitch in ditch around small piecing etc) ...price on application.

Borders : Prices vary according to the size and complexity of the border design. Most simple borders will be included in the simple custom quilting price . A turning fee of $20 may apply.

To work out your quilt in square feet.

Measure your quilt in inches and substitute your measurements in the following example.

For a quilt sized 80” x 90”

Multiply the length by the width: 80 x 90 = 7200 square inches

To convert to square feet divide by 144: 7200 -:- 144 = 50 square feet

Multiply square feet by quilting style cost

Example 1: $3 Pantograph pattern: 50 x $3 = $150

Or Example 2: $5 Custom Quilting: 50 x $5 = $250
